October Fishing Report

With the days growing shorter and the temperature dropping, fishing has gotten really good. The weather has been mostly dry so the river clarity is the best it has been all year. The fish are starting to fill up as much as they can before winter arrives and opportunities are fewer and farther between. Now is the time to capitalize on the fall feed. Subsurface crayfish and minnow patterns have been the go-to, but topwater has still been productive some days. If you’re looking to get out on the water this fall, now is the time to get on the books.
